repeater question, could end up singing red rum without help

hello all,
I manage a large rural property with a large house and an external apartment (where i live) i made both completely wireless with one wireless router and two linksys routers flashed with dd-wrt to make them wireless repeaters. the router was in the south wing which is closest to my Apt. and i used one of the repeaters to pick up that signal to get internet in my Apt. the other repeater was in the center of the house with the signal reaching the north wing. the owners of the house had me move the main wireless router from the south wing (closest to my Apt.) to the center of the house in the basement to improve TV reception (or so they claim), now the repeater in my apartment wont pick up a signal. I need to get internet in my apartment before the winter gets too intense or i will end up like the guy in The Shining. So i have 1 modem/wireless router which reaches all of the north wing and almost to the end of the south wing, and two wireless routers with dd-wrt set up as repeaters. can i use repeater1 in the south wing to amplify the main signal and use repeater2 to pick repeater1s signal? basicly can a repeater pick up a repeater? if so how is that done? moving the main wireless router is not an option. any help would be most appreciated

Yes,
It can/will work
You can read the WDS info on the DD-WRT wiki
Remember the decrease in through put though with each WDS connection
