Unhappy How to extend WiFi range?

I live in Canada but recently bought a condo in southern Florida. I will use it 1 - 2 months a year which doesn't justify getting cable or DSL Internet access - too expensive. There is an unsecured WiFi netwok in the club house that covers the area of approx. 300 ft. With my laptop I can get occasional weak signal in one of the bedrooms. Is there any way I can somehow increase the strength of the signal so I can have Internet access in the condo, because I don't feel like dragging my laptop to the club house whenever I want to go on-line. Can anybody help me with advice?

Try using a Wi-Fi adapter to boost your range. I use the Wi-Fire from hField technologies and it works great. On their website it says you can connect up to 1000ft away from your access point thats why i chose this....Im actually about 400ft away from my point and i obtain a strong signal.

Do you have a lot of interference in your way?
