laptop connected to wlan but no internet

Newly installed WIFI AP connected to existing LAN. 3 laptops, an older Dell C840, a new Sony VAIO and a new Dell Latitude. The old Dell is using WZC and connects to the WLAN with no problem and is able to surf the internet.

The 2 new laptops will connect to the WLAN, obtain an IP address from the DHCP server, but will NOT connect to the internet, nor are they able to access the Admin interface of the AP, nor ping any machine on the LAN. Both of these new machines are using wifi connection software other than WZC.

Any suggestions of things to try?

Sounds like you have a firewall or security suite enabled on those computers. Strange that you are getting DHCP information, but can not ping.
