I have a valuepoint NC-3550 and I want to setup remote syslog. The manual is worthless. It just says put in IP address and nothing else. I contacted Valuepoint and they sent me a link to their Quick setup that doesn't explain anything. They told me for more information I need to pay $499 to buy a service plan for help. Why would anyone by a $500 service plan on a $900 controller? Maybe that is why they don't include the information in the manual. I have a dozen of these things and after we brought them we found out that firmware corrections aren't free you have to pay for to correct errors in their software. Go figure. I would appreciate any help.
