Wi-Fi repeatedly refuses to connect to the internet

    Hi all,

I´m on holiday in a Spanish hotel, and here I use an (unprotected) Wi-Fi with my laptop.

When I make a break surfing and then try to reconnect, or also during surfing without any visible reason, the Wi-Fi refuses to connect me to the internet - I´m connected only locally. Shutting down and restarting of the computer doesn´t help at all, nor does terminating the connection and reconnecting. I have also tried some of the offered "repair"-functions, without any success.

Do you know what the problem might be and how to possibly solve it?

If your WIFI works OK when you are in your regular environment (Ie., you left home and iy was working noramly) it probably something that has to do with the Hotel system.

Try the Hotel's front desk for help, it might in their system, ask about log in process, firewall, and possible use of an unusual ports.
