    Medion mim2120 wifi problem

    hi all. Wifi doesnt work after i reinstalled xp on my medion mim2120 laptop. I installed launch manager 1.4.9 but now i dont know how activate it, maybe launch manager would help me? thanks for your answers.

    Make sure that the correct Drivers are installed for the Wireless card.

    I downloaded wifi drivers and than it came up with this error as soon as I atempted to connect: Password needs to be 40bits or 104bits, than i installed Windows XP Service Pack 3 on my laptop. That fixed 40bits error, but than newest problem occured: Internet connection shows "Connected" but I can't go to any website. Looking forward for your help.

    With Wireless it is advisable as first step to disable the Security of your Wireless Router and enable it only after you obtain a Valid connection to the Internet.

    Connected does not mean that you have a valid IP.

    It might be that you are better off getting rid of the Launch Manager and use Win XP WZC.

    Follow the page that I linked to above, it should help in finding out where the "brake" occurs.
