Hello. I have six access points their also routers but configred only as access points, their all Asus WL500-w draft n.

How can I make them work in roaming in a way that I can always internet and internet network in my work?

Should the AP be configured as WDS and Hybrid? Or all as AP?

What is the best software to install in the pcs to manage all this AP?

I'm kind of lost here. Please help me out.

Regards,
Marco

If clients (Computers ) are running Win XP or Vista they will automatically rome between APs is APs are conigured as AP (hmmm such a bad Eng wording) ... So technically u dont need too much of configs, however, there will be slight connection loos while comp reconects to another PC... so programs like AIM, ICQ, P2P may freak out... all other programs dont even see the connection loss

As to WDS it has nothing to do w/ roaming, its only to conect APs to internet w/o wires, kinda like cell phone towers.

PS: There is true roaming standard, but to my knowlage it is not fully ratified by IEEE so it is not available in most APs.
