Hi All, I work for a local ski resort and am looking into really honing in my wireless network. I can very easily create wireless links that span miles across flat terrain. Here at the mountain as you can assume the terrain is not flat and over the years I have had trouble with the elevation and having a solid wireless link. The answers of the following questions still haunt me in my sleep.
1. How high should my base Antenna be?
2. Are my Omni and directional antennas, too high or to low of gain.

For the most part Im only trying to connect to a device that is only less than a quarter of a mile but with an elevation of 935ft and still connect to devices at base level 25 ft below an Omni Antenna 45ft away. With many devices at many elevations, it is difficult to get everything connected and be solid.

Any have any good advice?
