I have a verizon wireless router/modem. My compaq can not log on to it. I get a message that the wireless ap might be out distance please rescan.
It only happens with the compaq. My mac and my dellsee it fine and log on.
The compaq can log onto an unprotected ap at school but at my house it can not.
I just swapped out the router for a new one and I still have issues with the router connecting to the ap. It is protected.
I do not get a window to add the password. I just get the same message. I renamed the ap tp a different nam and i still have the same message.
Any thoughts?
