I have a Dell Latitude D620 that is equipped with a Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Mini PCI Express Internal Card and a Linksys WPC54GS Wireless-G Notebook Adapter. The Internal card is accessing a wireless interface in Ad-Hoc mode and using a software utility for that interface. I don't have any problems with that configuration until I install the Linksys adapter. I am trying to use the Linksys adapter to link the laptop to our wireless access point while simultaneously using the Internal card to access the wireless interface . I have tried using Windows Zero Configuration as well as the Linksys Network Monitor utility. When I use either utility it conflicts with the interface's utility. I can switch the Internal card to infrastructure mode and can link to the WAP, but that locks me out of the interface. Any ideas?
