Lost "key" code for wireless router

We have been using the same wireless router for the last couple of years. Both our laptop and desktop are linked via the router. The problem is we bought a new laptop and we have misplaced, no, lost, the password or "key" code.

Is there any way to obtain the code via the computer, or are we just SOL?

you should be able to login to the wifi route via your browser on one of the already connected computer. try going to http://192.168.1.1 or 2.1 or 0.1

If you manage to login then you should be able to create a new password for the wifi. And make sure you use WPA not WEP if possible.
