I am going to build a antenna out of old satellite dish as explained in following:
website:
http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to/video/how-to-turn-an-old-satellite-dish-into-a-strong-wifi-antenna-201156/

Since this requires a hard wire connection. How do I make a wireless conection? Will a wireless usb hub work in connection with a usb donngle(wireless usb connector to laptop)? Is there another cheaper method that will work? I am trying to receive wifi connection from a point approx 200 feet from source. Any ideas. Please help.

That is ridiculous.

Look at the satellite dish on the roof. There is a boom to the left, couple of white plastic caps visible. That is where you put the antenna. At the focus of the paraboloid.

How to draw a parabola: The point being, anything that comes in along line B-P ends up at focus F.
