I'm trying to connect a 1300 Series Bridge and two 1242 APs. I have the Bridge set up as a root bridge and the two APs as non-root bridges. The root bridge associated with one of the APs for a few minutes and then dropped. No connection since then.
Since I'm testing these out in the same room, I am not using any type of encryption. I just want them to connect and test them out for a while.
Root Bridge (1310 Cisco Bridge) is connected to the LAN.
Cisco 1242 AP 1: Remote Network - Needs to connect to Bridge for network access.
Cisco 1242 AP 2: Remote Network - Needs to connect to Bridge for network access.
The root bridge has a install mode but that didn't seem to help either. Anyone have any suggestions on what I need to do?
