hello chaps, i recently hand a usb wifi dongle which worked fine until it died, i have since bought a new one and from here my troubles have started.
I find my sky signal, it then connects, 2 seconds lated it becomes unauthenticated and then becomes idle, it then searches finds sky again, connects for 2 seconds becomes unauthenticated and then becomes idle, it then searches finds sky again, etc this will last for ten minutes then i get the ! over the wireless icon.
I took the dongle back thinking it was faulty and got a pci wireless card thinking it would be better but the exact same thing happens. I've changed channels, reset ip address using dos prompt.
Any one got any ideas, would the previous dongle be conflicting the new one? Love you for ever if you can sort this out.
