Wimax used for location & positioning

I am a second year student in Telecomunication university in France. Currently, I am working on a project that tries to study how to use Wimax for location and positioning.
I should now make experiments on signal strength transmitted from Wimax antenna .
How could I do such an experiment :confused: :confused: ? is there a tool that can be used ?
