Need advice on compatability of my Linksys BFW11S4 and a Hypergaintech directional patch antenna. I connected the patch antenna to one of the 2 antenna inputs and didn't get any improvement in signal on my PC card. Wonder if the Linksys needs 2 matching antennas, or one is for transmit and one is for receive. Hypergain tech support told me that they had received similar complaints about use of their antenna with the BFW11S4; but no problem with the access point model. Thanks for any fix/advice to get better range; currently only about 30' in my plaster wall house.
