I need to install a WLAN in the Czech Republic (i'm in the UK). I've got the access points here in the UK to configure (Nortel BAP120's), but when i set them to Czech Republic it turns off 802.11 b\g, leaving me 'a' as my only options.

I've checked with our guy in the Czech Republic (who is not a techie) who says he uses 802.11b\g in his house. How do i find out whether 802.11 b\g is allowed to be used in the Czech Republic, and if it is, how do i get my Nortel access points to work?

Thanks in advance.

802.11b/g are allowed there. You are most likely looking at a hardware problem. Maybe caused by different power standards?
