I asked the question privately to one of the member.
So I'm thinking about installing 802.11b and I have a baby in one room. What is the relationship ?

Well, I was wondering about the wavelength is 2.4-5 GHz which is not good really when you are exposed too much and babies are probably more vulnerable than us.

Anybody have an idea about the power of such a device ?

I have a thinpad with a builtin 802.11b and a ADSL router.
So it will be a matter of small investment to have that up and running.

If there is a way of isolating the room, I would be more confortable with the idea.

Cheers

The power in 802.11b is very, very low. Just as the power in your cordless telephone is.
