Gatway Laptop touchpad & Orinoco Gold

Hi I'm using a Gateway Solo 400 sd4 laptop and I can't get the
touchpad to work right it's works intermittented when my
Orinoco Gold Pcmcia Card is installed. the touch pad is using
Synaptics ver 6.0.23.0 11/15/01 driver and the pcmcia card bus is using O2 micro OZ 6912 card bus controller driver ver 5.1.2600.0 xp cleint 010817-1148 Or could this be a video
problem ???
Would anyone know of a fix ?? Thanks for any help

sounds like what our Dlink cards do on some laptops, they way we resolve this is to disable the utility at start up in msconfig. it seems to be a leak in the card or the drivers that ****s the resources from the system. have you tried the latest drivers from orinoco's site.

Hi
I loaded just the driver for the Orinoco gold card and I just
got it to connect (peer to peer )
I removed the ulities from the HD
I just cant get over 2 mbps in speed
