Wifi Help with cordless phone

Hiya all new to the forum!

I need your help on a wifi problem since May i have been in my new house with my Wifi Cable router and cordless phone living in harmony, however now all of a sudden i cant recieve calls or get a clear line when dialling out when my router is transmiting!

I use a belkin wireless router sending signal to pc upstairs, also use a binetone cordless phone with 2 additional handsets upstairs.


Please help as i like to leave router on for downloading but then i cant use phone!!

You can try using a different channel, but most cordless phones hunt for available frequencies at various times so it is not a permanent solution. I would get a cordless phone that uses a different frequency band.

Is the belkin a Pre-802.11N router?
