I am using a Linksys USB wireless adapter for my desktop. I would like to achieve greater directionality and signal strength by using a cantenna. Would it be possible to connect a cantenna to the Linksys adapter? The antenna on the adapter is not removable and there appears to be no jack for a co-ax plug, and cobbling up some kind of crude connection would seem to defeat the purpose. Are there USB devices that will accept the output from a cantenna's coax connector? Thanks for any suggestions.
