Were do I find information about TKIP? Does TKIP protect against DoS attacks?

Is TKIP IEEE's temporal security solution and EAP, AES their suggested long-term solution?

TKIP (ie WEP key hasing) is a recently approved proposal by the IEEE's Task Group i to fix the well documented attacks against WEP by exploiting "weak IVs". TKIP is implemented in the hardware and causes a new WEP key to be generated after aprox 10,000 bytes of tramsmitted data. You can find more info about TKIP at the IEEE's site as well as Cisco. AES is the proposed long term fix to the RC/4 WEP implementation.
