Hello everyone,
We have a graduation project about 802.11b wlans. Since we are students we try to make all work with emulators. We must get some data to Server from a PDA (most likely an Ipaq). We have an emulator for PDA (microsofts). But we don't have emulators for 802.11b devices. The question is, are api call functions different in 802.11b. I mean since we will use TCP-IP can we use winsock (for clients eVb 3.0 winsock and for servers Vb winsock, methods like
close, senddata, open etc.) Will it work with 802.11b. Or do we have to handle all the work (I mean from physical layer or smthing like that) I am searching for 3 days and I will go mad if I can't find that.
Thanks.
