I did this for my wg302.. check out..
.Make sure you have the latest firmware from Netgear. Go to www.netgear.com to download the latest. Make a note of where you saved the file on your computer. You will need this for later
.Once you have downloaded the firmware, you must change the name of the firmware to wg302.rmt. No other name is acceptable for this process.
.Change the IP address on your computer to 192.168.0.36 and connect to the WG302 using Ethernet cable.
.Open up your tftp server, and point it to the directory you saved the firmware file in. Don’t worry about the filename - the WG302 is programmed to look for wg302.rmt in the directory you specify.
.Now that you have renamed the file wg302.rmt, changed your IP address to 192.168.0.36 and opened you tftp server pointing to the directory the file is stored in, you are ready to flash firmware. To do this, you simply need to unplug the WG302, press and hold the reset button, and plug WG302 back in and hold the reset button down until you see the file transfer begin in tftp server GUI.
