Can we use VPN and wireless together?
PLease guide I have to practically demonstrate both together.

What type of VPN are you looking at? Most WIFI architectures will support any type of VPN just as a wired network does.

If they support all kinds of VPN can you guide me to practically implement a Wireless VPN? I mean if I have mobile phones (GSM not WAP) then can i make a VPN connection using SMS or so
I am not all clear about this thing but I have to make a research alongwith some practical implementation on Wireless VPN....

Now your talking something high tech. GSM VPN vs. 802.11b VPN each one has far different architectures, applications, and usability. In the future network devices will work on dual mode devices that will make the connection between 802.11 and digital celular networks transparent. But they are not there yet. As far as using GSM for a VPN application you need to consider the slow speeds available and how that will affect the application. Also the OS of the device in use i.e. PocketPC, Palm, vendor specific etc. will make a huge architecture difference in development.

I do not know the details of you application but the MOBILITY needs and application FUNCTIONALITY need to be defined well in order to consider the best use of network platforms. Not sure if any of this helps. Sounds like you have a large project on your hands.

Hey?! I was wondering. Does xbox live support VPN? or is that a factor? i have a MPA code as my pw but im wondering if VPN will be a factor?
