I am trying to connect at a coffee shop that uses the name of a coffe for the WEP key. I can use it with windows XP, but my palm TC is unable to connect using the ASCII key. Any ideas on what character I need to pad the key with? or is there another way for the Westell router to recognize my palm. Verzion Tech support cannot seem to find a tech that knows about the router. Called Westell and they say that the router B90-327W15-06 was made for Verzion and that all Tech Suppor has to come from them.

Funny, none of the persons I have been able to speak with even understands the issue, let alone be able to transfer me to someone who might.

Try inputting the encryption key using hex code.

Tried using hex and padding with 0 or F.

finally got a response from Verizon. They said to use the default WEP key found under the routher. That did not work either.

Will try Verizon again. Westell will not support the router as they claim they built it to the Verizon specs. Funny not many people at Verizon even have a clue as to what a WEP code is.
