Hi Every1

I have a problem which i unfortunaetly cannot figure out, and need your help please.

I have a link over 2 kilometers using 2 DWL 2100 with directional antennas on both units, one acting as an AP and the other as an AP Client. At the Client end, i have a cross cable ethernet connection going down to the basement level inside a building and plugged into another DWL 2100 acting as an AP. Everything works fine, until recently.

The current problem is that only one computer can access the network, it does not matter which computer, but if one computer has access, then all the other computers will not manage to ping the AP client.

I changed the main AP, no solution, i changed the AP client, no solution, i changed the AP inside the building, no solution.

The computer that has access manages to ping all access points without any problem. I honestly have no idea how to solve the problem.

Can someone pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help.

Cheers.

can you put a switch in place of the DWL 2100 and connect all the PC's via wire and see if you can still get access?

If so it could be firmware, or hdcp, or any sort of config issue.

I seem to have figured out the problem, it seems that the firmware installed on the DWL2100 2.2 does not like the idea of connecting an access point with and access point client via ethernet cross cable. I changed the firmware to 2.02 and everything is running smooth again. Thanks for the advice anyway Josh.
