Hi

I would really be grateful if someone could hlep me with this issue regarding SMC's devices.

When I bridge 2 SMC2888W Master devices together, the connection is fine ( Y<--->Z ), but when I add another device to the first one (Y), the connection is lost!? ( X<---> Y <---> Z )

Can someone help me please.

They devices got good range, but i think they get stuck or hang whenever i try this.

Pleeeeez help.:o

A bridge link is only possible between two bridge clients. You may want to describe what you are trying to do with the three devices, as there maybe another solution.

Hi,

Well, im trying to make a chain if this is the right word for it.. a - b - c.. that kind of scenario, where im running into problems with the SMC devices and it seems that they aren't that user friendly in terms of knowing what needs to be done.

I have got a 2 master devices and 1 slave.. so naturally the master device will communicate with the slave, but whenever i try to establish a link with the other master (which it does) i seem to loose the connectivity with the slave.

is that a limitation on the device, or am i trying to do something that is not conceptually possible???

Thank you in advance.

I am not a big fan of doing it this way but B would need to be configured as a repeater.
