Howdy. I am trying to add my old Linksys WRT54GS (3rd party dd-wrt v. 23 firmware uploaded) to my Airport Extreme 802.11n network.

I followed this tutorial - http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/tutorials/article.php/3628576 with a few variations. Note that I am not using the dd-wrt firmware on the Airport Extreme as it is already WDS enabled with the Apple Software etc.

I seem to have been able to create another network with little difficulty yet I am unable to connect to the internet server. OS X has a preference pane for network connection and diagnostics and my results came up as the following:
1) Airport - Passed
2) Airport Settings - Passed
3) Network Settings - Passed
4) ISP - Passed
5) Internet - Failed
6) Server - Failed

So... I'm wondering what I might have done wrong here.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

p.s. - Yes the network does work properly with the Linksys as the main router, however, that is quite an inconvenience with locations etc.
Cheers.
