Ok heres the story, it has me totally baffled..

In one of our offices I have recently setup a wireless network. I am using Linksys WAP54G access points. When I was up there everything worked great which is always the case.

I have a problem now. One of the computers now cannpt connect to the access point wireless network. It is able to see it and others in the area, when I get the user to double click on the network it searches and then askes for the network key, I give it to him and once he selects connect, it searches again and give a message saying that on wireless networks could be found.

There are four other users in this area connecting to the same access point, which is right over the user with the problems head, he is the closest to it.

I am lost, what can be causing this.

Any ideas?

Sounds like his wireless adapter may have a problem.

What type of key is he entering? 64 or 128 bit WEP, WPA?

It only 64-Bit Wep.

If possible stop using WEP and move to a more secure encryption.

If not possible one thing to try is to enter the WEP key as Hex Code instead of ASCII text. The reason is that not all wireless devices has the ASCII key the same and it might be creating a dissimilar Hex Code key.
