I have a Netgear MR814 Wireless Router connected to my cable modem. I'm trying to connect a eMac running 10.4.9 and the only way i get it to work is when the wireless network is not sercure. I enable WEP with a 64-bit key and the mac will not take it when my other PC laptop running WinXP takes the key just fine. Can any one help with this?

In many cases devices from alternate vendors hash the WEP key differently and will exhibit the problem you are seeing. That router is capable of WPA-PSK. I would be curious to learn why you are not using that encryption protocol, as it does not have that potential hashing problem that WEP does.
