newbie connection problem

Hi
This has probably been asked in some form or other before but I cannot find it
I have just connected a linksys wag200g wireless router this connects fine
I then connected a wireless pci card to my daughters pc this also shows a good connection
The problem I have is that I cannot get a wireless network working if I allow windows xp to manage the connection then it disappears no connection
With the inexq (cr054g) software the wireless connection wizard won’t work.
I am almost useless with computers so is there a program I can use or an idiot’s guide that would help

sorry i don't know what ssid is i have checked all through the router settings but cant see it

@madmopedracer - Have u tried to manually give settings on ur daughter's PC rather than letting XP manage it?

solved the problem
binned the ineq and bought a linksys installed and worked like a dream
