I have no idea what I am missing.

I went through all the steps, but I can not connect to the other PC.

I get " Unable to attach to specified device"

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Not much information to go on. More than likely you are trying to connect through a router or firewall that does not have port forwarding setup.

A much easier solution is to try the freeware application called LogMeIn.
