from 54 to 11 Mbps.. is that possible?

Hallo all,

I have a WLAN router 54 Mbps, and I got in my PC a 54 Mbps PCI card. My PC is not too far from the router so the signal is always very strong. The WLAN icon on my PC (Win-XP SP2) shows sometimes 54 and 11 in thew other times.

It is changing always!

Can anyone tell me why this happens?

Yeah it can happen Sometime .... It can be a problem with router ....
Try to change the channel and then check the speed you are getting
