large outdorr wireless network

Hello any ideas
I have a large outdoor wireless network to set up. I will need a total of 6 sites. each site will be sending small amounts of data. What I'm not sure of is a hill. two of the stations will be on the far side of the hill, "no LOS" . So if need a repeater at the top of the hill. I was planing to use a WDS network. I'm not sure if this is the best option. Also the range is not too bad, about 1,600 feet is the max range of the units.

Do you mean outdoor wireless bridges connecting 6 sites?

I would start with Proxim (high end). Read everything about their bridge products/features/security/installation planning and scale down if need be.
