I just heard about wifi last month when I was in Key Largo on a dive trip, stayed at the Holiday Inn. My brother joined me and brought his laptop along, got hooked up and read his emails at home and surfed a little. Very interesting. So I bought a used Compaq Armada E500 laptop. Orderd a 820.11g card and CD. When I got the laptop it had a Xircom RealPort CardBus Ethernet 10/100 card in it, a good battery, CD and Floppy, adapter and XP installed. After that I am done. I need to know what I have to do and/or buy to make this laptop work in a hotel in Key Largo to do the same things. I know my way around XP some and have been surfing the web for about 8 years but don't get too technical on me. Thanks ahead of time for any help you can give me.
