Hello everyone I hope i can find a answer here. We are building custom office containers. Im trying to figure out how to make there existing wifi service avaliable to laptops that will be in the container. I have found repeaters but I need to find something with antennas to get the outside wifi signal and pass it through the steel to give the clients inside the container wifi access.. These are going to be moved all over the US and I am sure there will be different wifi signals everywhere they go.I need to provide both wifi and cell access inside the containers.. I have already found some cellular repeters that have an external antenna and also have a internal antenna but i havent found anything like it for wifi... help please:)

The antenna would have to mounted high on top of the units or extended far from the units where the metal of the units would not deflect the signals.

You don't want to use a bunch of repeaters because of the bandwidth loss. Instead, consider a point-to-multipoint bridge.

You would need to test this to find a distance that works. Because of the metal, this is not plug and play.
