I have a nursing home with a nurse station in the center and then three wings (each of them about 120 feet long) going away from the nurse station.
Client wants to have notebooks on medical carts that wirelessly connect to the server software for data entry.
I was thinking about 4 AP's - one at the nurse stsation and one about 50 feet away into each of the wings to have good coverage.
Please let me know how this can be set up to accomplish the best coverage without interruptions when moving between rooms. Please also let me know how to set up the ap (I read that there are different ways or modes AP's can be linked togethere).
As you might read from my questions I have not had much experience settingup multiple AP for coverage.
THank you for any help!

If this is an installation for your client and you haven't done this before and you need to provide ongoing support, I'd suggest starting with the CWNA prep book which includes good info on site surveys, roaming clients, and security.
