Hi,

My frist AP is this LeArtery SynbyAir AP.
Now, at home, I use a Linksys system + some Orinoco, Transdata stuff around.

I can't remember now how to setup this AP. I attach it to a hub, which is connected to the router/wireless and my PC.... but since I don't have the manual anymore I can't get it to work. I know it's similar to my Linksys, in that it uses a web base page configuration system... but how can I access it? (So I can change the SSID so that it will work with the Linksys wirelessly.)

Anyone knows what should I do?

What would you do then in my case? If you have this unknown AP, and you don't know how to set it up, what steps would you do?

Arrgh! I finally found the AP utility in one of my old notebook's HD... and sure enough it worked. I finally got inside my LeArtery AP's web interface!

Arrgh! But I couldn't get it to communicate with my Linksys AP router, so dumb me but I pressed "Reset to Factory Defaults" and guess what? Now it erased the old login/password I had on it.

Now I can't get back inside the AP!!! WTF! Anyway out of this? I can't remember the factory default user/password for this AP... anyone out there with a LeArtery?

(Strange that the AP utility now can't see the AP, but I can still enter the web interface)

Nevermind. ^_^

I guessed it... after 20 minutes of guesswork... and a little help from Google, one of the popular default passwords worked.

Now, why can't these two AP's see each other? I already put them on the same SSID with my Linksys router. Should I enable DCHP on as well on the LeArtery AP?
