wi fi disconnects on switch users

hello. When i log on to my name on xp pro, the internet works fine. I can switch users back to the users menu and log back on to my name and it still works. But when i switch to the menu, and someone else logs on, when i log back on i get limited or no connectivity until i restart my wi fi adapter. I use a linksys router. i use intel pro/wirless 2915abg adapter. it is very frustrating because it stops my downloads and things. please help

I am not sure I completely understand, but if you switch users, you will lose your profile information and that most likely is why you are losing the wireless connection.
