Ok, I thought that this would be easy but I was so wrong!
I recently purchased a Netgear WGR614 Wireless Router because I wanted to setup a 2 PC network in my house. 1 PC has a normal wired connection but the second is a wireless enabled Laptop.
I began setting up but ran into problems straight away, basically because I have a USB-only broadband modem and the router will not connect to it because I need an ethernet connection.
Now, on my PC I have a LAN ethernet socket and an internal Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection.
My question is; can I use this to connect to the internet instead of my USB broadband modem and, in turn, can I use this to connect to the wireless router in order to set up my home network?
Or should I take the Netgear WGR614 back and exchange it with a router that has an internal ADSL modem?
If someone can give me some advice it would be appreciated.
Thanks
