i have two computer the first is a wireless client the second one is a server and both share the wireless router to connect to the internet, but recently i decide to join the client to the server domain so as to have a client server system, but whenever i try this it comes up with an error that it could not find domain.
If you have all of the wireless configuration correct and the signal strength is sufficient, then you may want to try these steps.
Make sure Windows is controlling the wireless device and not a piece of software that came with the card. Connect to your access point with the relevant details you have set so you have a live connection.
Then go to Start > Run > gpedit.msc and press enter.
When the policy editor has loaded go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Logon.
Find the option "Always wait for the network at computer startup and login" and set to "enable".
Then exit.
Restart your XP machine and your PC should now process any login scripts and wait for the wireless connection to be established before giving you a login screen.

That is all about I can say. That is where it is at either the local group policies or the AD group policies.
