I´m doing a paper on wireless communication, and I was wondering if any of you could help me on a simple question.
What wireless technologies use the 802,11 protocol?

802.11, and it's offshoot, 802.11b, are used for local area networking in homes and offices, point-to-point linking of distant networks, wide-area networking by ISPs, voice communications, inventory & point-of-sale apps, security applications, video surveillance, database applicatoins, etc.
