Hello people

Thank you for your assistance in my previous thread in Troubleshooting regarding interference.

Now the question is - I have 3 Cisco 1200 G APs that covers whole floor , I have set its radio channels to 1, 6 and 11. Now I need to limit radio signal , in order to not to communicate to those WAPs from floor above and below.
I need to know if it is available , how may I limit RF vertically ?
I can say what antennas I use , that are AIR-ANT1728 5.2dBi.

Thank you

If you check out this link and the antenna radiation patterns, you will see that it has an E-Plane angle of 50deg. That is what you are contending with. You could try reducing power, while still hopefully maintaining the correct coverage area.

One possible thing to try is to shield the antenna from radiating, aka reduce that 50deg angle. That has to be researched as it can introduce other problems like multipath interference.

You also can get higher gain antennas as the E-Plane angle decreases as the gain increases.
