HELP, Just want to setup up a wirless network.

I have all belkin equipment (router and two usb wirless adaptors) and I want to make a network so I can share files between laptop and PC. I already have wirless internet but I can't setup the LAN. The thing is my router is not plugged into any computers as it is in a seperate room, is it still possible to have LAN connection like this? If any one could help it would be much appreciated, also might need a bit of walkthrough guide to :)

Tryed the link but still no sucsess, all seems to revoval around a single ethernet cable. I can't even get the compters to reconise that the other is there.
