I have a Netgear WG511v2 adapter on a laptop running Windows XP Pro. Until a few days ago, it was connecting to my wireless router with no trouble. Then, mysteriously, it wouldn't connect. I uninstalled & re-installed the Netgear adapter, but the problem hasn't gone away: I can see the list of wireless network connections available, with my network signal showing 80-100% strength, but can't connect. Card shows green light all the time and amber light when attempting to connect. No difference between using the XP connection manager and Netgear connection manager.

Can anyone tell me what type of problem this is - the driver? service pack problem?

Thanks so much,
Lee

I am having the exact same problem on a laptop with W2K. One day it just stopped connecting. I was able to scan and reconnect once, but since then it is dead in the water. The leds on the card blink and I can view all available networks, but cannot connect. Ive reinstalled the software too.

Ok have you both tried firstly to make sure that the problem isn't lying with WZC? Check the sticky at the start of this troubleshooting forum.
Also, go to start>run>type "cmd" and then type in ipconfig /all and post the results from that here so we all can try to diagnose your problem
