Interesting, what kind of antenna is that? Looks like an iBook is your computer of choice as well.

The antenna is just a cheap (poorman's) usb wifi adapter and a foil roasting pan. I just read about it somewhere and thought it would be fun to build and play with until I buy a real antenna.

You may not need or want to get a real antenna as that is one. I use that approach all of the time. It removes RF loss due to coaxial cable, always a good thing. Check this link out.
