I started a new thread Concerning my old and soon to be new delema. the original thread is here( http://forums.wi-fiplanet.com/showthread.php?p=26943#post26943 )

A run down on my current set up

House A
Cable modem/
Di-624 router/ ( wifi shut off Doesn't work right. But is running the dhcp for the network.
From the router 2 pc's and another router Di-514 Set up with no dhcp /
Hooked to a 19DBi Grid antenna Aimed at my house (house B)

House B FOr now an Omni antenna.
Hooked to a DWL-2100Ap Set up as a AP client.
That is plugged into a linksys 5 port switch with 3 sometimes 4 PC's hooked to the switch.

My question . I think I'm going to get another DWL-2100AP .
Would I be best to set it up as an accesspoint? Or use my di-514 here and set both AP's in a PtP bridge mode.?

And if bridge mode is the best way to go I will most likely need a couple of tips in setting it up.
Thanks
Allan

If you get the new AP, you have the two choices AP or Bridge. I personally prefer bridging. My reasoning is that the two nodes are only then looking for each other and totally ignore any other wireless networks. I realize that in your case, that may not be a problem, but one never knows. I just like the additional security as well.

The bridge link is pretty much self-explanatory. I have complete faith that you can set it up no problems. Heck I can do it.

Thanks M/Q
Things are real busy here lately. I'll report back when I get the new Ap and try to set it all up.
