My son and I have had to quit our dairy farming operation. I am seriously considering going in to the WLAN/802.11 distributor and installation business. Where would we start? Is this a good idea? What hardware companies should I contact? Thanks so much! (we live near a large metropolitan area)

No problem. I'm researching as to who has a turn key product with the best technical support.

It is great to see that there is interest in this installation market in other areas of the country. We have recently taken our Wi-Fi installation experience and spun off a new company just for installing the technology for WISPs. As I believe that scale is an important part of successful companies today I would be very interested in speaking to those interested in helping expand through our partnership program.

This would be a great opportunity if you are truly interested. Please contact me via email or at the number below.

Kevin,

What is the price range your company quotes for a standard one access point installation (including wiring, cable, access point, and labor). Is it a fixed price? By hour? By contract? Whats the model?

I would like to setup a part-time installation service as well but I have no idea what the markets' price point is. Since I'm a one-man shop and a jack-of-all-trade I can only feasibly do small to medium size projects - which also happens to be the most cost-conscious buyers.
