Help!!!

i am a new laptop user and i need help finding a router that i can use anywher i go. is there such a thing that i can buy that will allow me to access the internet anywhere i may take my laptop. any help with be nice.

A few questions first to determine what you need. First does the notebook have a wireless network adapter in it already? What do you mean by "access the Internet anywhere I may take my notebook"? Does that mean you expect to find wireless access anywhere or are you referring to places like HotSpots or public and free wifi? Depending on your answer to the first question, why do you feel you need a router?

I Dont Think That I Have A Wireless Adapter. I Am Basicly Trying To Access The Internet From Places Where I Take My Notebook (i.e.. School,places Away From Home. How Would I Be Able To Do This Any Suggestions. Router Or Not!!!

If you do not have a wireless network adapter in your notebook, then you need to get some kind of an adapter whether it be a USB or pc card that you can plug in to it. If there are any open wireless networks available you should be able to connect to them.

I use this product for similar situations as it first will tell me what is available and then it can act as the wireless network adapter.
